Python Software Engineer (Python, Go)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain Python-based tools to enhance the efficiency and workflow of Support Engineers.
• Collaborate with Support teams to translate operational challenges into actionable technical solutions.
• Modernize the existing tool ecosystem and identify opportunities for technical improvements.
• Troubleshoot tool-related issues to ensure minimal downtime for internal users.
• Contribute to Go-based projects and work within Kubernetes-based infrastructure.
• Write and maintain clear documentation to support system scalability and onboarding.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on Python development experience with strong software design principles.
• Proficiency with Python web frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Ability to read, debug, and pick up unfamiliar languages and codebases independently.
• Experience working in Linux environments, including shell scripting and system operations.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code, Copilot, or Cursor.
• Must be based in Herzliya, Israel

Nice to have

• Experience with Go programming language.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes deployments and services (EKS experience is a plus).
• Knowledge of frontend frameworks, specifically NextJS or React.
• Experience with AWS cloud environments.
• Understanding of system-level storage and networking topics.
