What you will do

• Lead the definition of solution architectures and provide actionable recommendations for digital transformation initiatives.
• Act as the technical authority throughout the project lifecycle, providing leadership from design through to deployment and transition.
• Establish and govern technical delivery frameworks, ensuring architecture governance and design assurance are in place.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders to align solution designs with business objectives and technology strategies.
• Coach and mentor colleagues, sharing specialist knowledge to develop architecture capabilities within the Digital business unit.
• Identify and shape opportunities for innovation, including cloud modernisation, AI-enabled services, and secure-by-design architecture.

Requirements

• Proven experience designing and delivering solution architectures for business and technology transformation programmes.
• Strong expertise in Solution and Enterprise Architecture, focusing on secure, resilient, and scalable digital solutions.
• Experience leading technical design activities, architecture workstreams, and multi-disciplinary delivery teams.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Knowledge of architecture frameworks and methodologies such as TOGAF, Zachman, or equivalent.
• Experience working within complex, regulated environments.

Nice to have

• Experience in Energy, Utilities, Public Sector, or Healthcare industries.
• Cloud architecture and security expertise, particularly within Microsoft Azure environments.
• Relevant professional certifications such as TOGAF, SABSA, CISSP, or Azure Solutions Architect.
• Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM), PKI, and cryptographic solutions.
• Track record in pre-sales consultancy, bid support, and solution shaping.
