[Studio Support Div.] Native English Localization Specialist (Gaming)

What you will do

• Edit and proofread game content translated by human translators, machine translation, and AI-assisted workflows.
• Perform post-editing and linguistic quality reviews within a hybrid localization pipeline.
• Create and maintain glossaries and style guides for human and AI translation workflows.
• Plan and execute linguistic QA, evaluating translation quality with established metrics and frameworks.
• Collaborate with translators and external vendors to maintain consistency, tone, and cultural relevance.
• Provide feedback to improve AI translation models, prompts, post-processing logic, and localization guidelines.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in localization as a linguist, editor, or copywriter, preferably in gaming.
• Native-level English proficiency and experience reviewing game translation content.
• Strong understanding of cultural nuances in source and target languages.
• Openness to AI-assisted translation workflows and emerging localization technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a self-motivated, proactive, and team-oriented approach.
• Passion for video games and localization.

Nice to have

• Experience using CAT tools such as SDL Trados or MemoQ.
• Hands-on game localization experience as a localization specialist or translator.
• Experience with MTPE or AI-assisted translation review workflows.
• Korean proficiency at TOPIK Level 5 or equivalent business-level reading, writing, and speaking ability.
