TL;DR

Head of AI Engineering & Enablement (AI/MedTech): Leading internal AI strategy and hands-on development to re-engineer business workflows with an accent on multi-agent systems, RAG pipelines, and HIPAA-compliant automation. Focus on building scalable internal agents, driving organizational adoption, and decoupling growth from headcount as the company scales.

Location: Must be based in the United States (Remote)

Salary: $224,000 - $256,000 USD (Zone 1)

What you will do

  • Identify and prioritize high-impact AI use cases in partnership with executive leadership.
  • Design and build production-grade internal agents, multi-agent systems, and RAG pipelines.
  • Audit and re-engineer business processes to ensure efficiency before automation.
  • Define governance, data-handling standards, and risk management for AI deployments.
  • Coach functional teams to build their own routine automations and foster AI fluency.
  • Maintain a library of reusable skills and frameworks to scale AI impact across the organization.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering, applied AI, or technical product roles.
  • Hands-on coding ability with a track record of shipping production systems.
  • Deep experience with multi-agent systems, RAG, and API integrations.
  • Proven experience shipping AI in HIPAA-regulated environments.
  • Strong business judgment and experience in process re-engineering.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
