Campus AI Research Engineer (Intern)

What you will do

• Apply state-of-the-art techniques to complex problems in quantitative finance.
• Collaborate with researchers and quantitative teams to build flexible, reusable AI/ML frameworks.
• Optimize model training pipelines for high-performance computing clusters.
• Integrate AI/ML models into latency-sensitive production systems.
• Build large-scale, observable, performant, and flexible AI/ML systems.
• Develop across C, C++, Python, CUDA, and other low-level GPU programming languages.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python and/or C++.
• Proficiency in PyTorch, JAX, TensorFlow, or similar frameworks.
• Expertise in GPU or accelerator programming, including CUDA, Triton, SYCL, ROCm, or equivalent technologies.
• Experience building AI/ML systems at scale, including large training datasets and low-latency or high-throughput inference.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• International students must be eligible for CPT or OPT.

Nice to have

• Experience with large-scale systems, high-performance computing, or accelerator programming.
• Strong creative problem-solving skills and motivation to work on challenging technical problems.
