UX Interactive Designer

Location: Must be based in Austin, Texas (Hybrid)

What you will do

• Lead the design of complex software applications and integration tools.
• Apply user-research methods to identify needs and requirements.
• Create design artifacts and prototypes that account for technical constraints.
• Conduct usability testing and gather early user feedback.
• Translate vague user requests into actionable, high-quality solutions.
• Partner with developers to ensure design intent is maintained throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (No visa sponsorship available).
• Must be able to access technical data without an export license (Export control restrictions apply).
• Solid experience as a UX Interaction Designer in commercial product development.
• Demonstrable experience designing software tools for industry professionals.
• Strong track record of solving complex design challenges.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Degree in a user-experience related subject.
• Experience with semiconductors, engineering, or similarly complex technical industries.
• Familiarity with Figma or other digital prototyping applications.
