What you will do

• Execute laboratory experiments efficiently according to predefined experimental designs, protocols, and timelines.
• Optimize downstream filtration processes to support project milestones.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and scale up downstream processes for breakthrough therapeutics.
• Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and highly detailed laboratory records and author technical development reports.
• Support lab operations by maintaining essential equipment and critical raw material inventories.
• Collaborate cross-functionally and partner with team members to keep DSP laboratories safe, professional, and well organized.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or M.S./B.S. in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, or a related discipline.
• Relevant biopharmaceutical industry experience with strong downstream process development knowledge for biologics (e.g., viral vectors, monoclonal antibodies, vaccines, recombinant proteins).
• Proven hands-on experience operating Ultrafiltration/Diafiltration (UF/DF) and Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF) systems.
• In-depth theoretical and practical understanding of TFF and advanced filtration operations.
• Working knowledge of purification skills specific to the role and familiarity with analytical techniques for in-process testing and product characterization.
• Experience using data science tools.
