Technical Product Manager (AI)

Location: Must be based in or able to relocate to San Francisco, CA (Hybrid/Remote options available).

What you will do

• Translate ambiguous customer pain into concrete product strategy, technical scope, and commercial proposals.
• Own high-value customer opportunities from discovery through POC, procurement, and long-term expansion.
• Collaborate closely with Applied Research and Engineering to prioritize customer-facing features and prototypes.
• Define product packaging, reference architectures, and sales narratives for frontier AI infrastructure.
• Identify market patterns to distinguish between one-off requests and massive market opportunities.
• Coordinate internal workstreams across product, research, legal, and finance to drive revenue.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to relocate to San Francisco (Visa sponsorship and relocation support provided).
• Strong product and commercial judgment with the ability to understand complex technical systems.
• High agency and comfort working in an ambiguous, fast-paced startup environment.
• Excellent written communication skills for creating memos, proposals, and launch narratives.
• Ability to earn trust with researchers, engineers, and executive stakeholders.
• Obsession with AI, post-training, agents, and infrastructure.

Nice to have

• Experience with RL, SFT, evals, or agent frameworks.
• Background in selling or deploying infrastructure, devtools, or enterprise AI products.
• Experience working with frontier AI labs or infra-heavy startups.
• Strong network across AI startups and research labs.
