What you will do

• Design and maintain automated tests for backend services, APIs, and system-level functionality.
• Increase test coverage and product quality by improving automation strategies and reducing release risks.
• Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to clarify requirements, identify quality gaps, and improve testing processes.
• Run manual and automated testing to validate functionality, stability, and compliance with business requirements.
• Investigate test failures, analyze results, and document defects with clear reproduction steps.
• Configure and maintain test environments and support automated test execution within CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Test Automation Engineering, SDET, or software development with a strong focus on automation.
• Hands-on experience with backend, API, and end-to-end test automation.
• Strong knowledge of Java and test automation frameworks: TestNG, RestAssured, Cucumber.
• Experience with build tools such as Maven and CI/CD tools (preferably GitLab CI or Jenkins).
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and experience with Azure DevOps or similar ALM tools.
• English: Upper-Intermediate or higher with strong communication skills.
