TL;DR

Business Development Representative (AdTech): Engaging inbound and outbound prospects to qualify opportunities and build a strong sales pipeline with an accent on discovery conversations and relationship management. Focus on driving new business growth, collaborating with Marketing and Sales teams, and refining outreach strategies in a product-led environment.

Location: Must be based in Toronto, ON, Canada (Hybrid: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays in-office).

Salary: $55,000 - $75,000 plus bonus.

What you will do

  • Engage inbound leads and conduct discovery conversations to assess readiness and qualify opportunities.
  • Execute outbound prospecting initiatives via email, LinkedIn, and phone to generate new business.
  • Maintain accurate records of prospect activity and outcomes in Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to refine lead qualification criteria and outreach messaging.
  • Book qualified meetings for Account Executives to ensure a seamless sales transition.
  • Contribute ideas to improve sales processes and scale the Revenue Growth function.

Requirements

  • Must be based in Toronto, ON, Canada or able to commute for hybrid work.
  • Proven experience in business development, inside sales, or customer-facing roles.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to conduct professional discovery conversations.
  • Technical aptitude with CRM and sales engagement tools like Salesforce or Salesloft.
  • Curiosity, drive, and a collaborative mindset for continuous improvement.
