What you will do

• Handle incidents, service requests, and user inquiries in a structured and timely manner.
• Analyze and debug technical issues involving Databricks jobs, clusters, permissions, and Unity Catalog.
• Collaborate with platform engineering, cloud, security, and vendor teams to resolve complex technical bottlenecks.
• Support the onboarding and adoption of platform capabilities, including Genie/AI features and Data Products.
• Identify recurring patterns of failure and implement automation opportunities to improve platform stability.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in platform support, cloud operations, or data platform operations.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks or similar data platforms.
• Strong practical experience with AWS.
• Basic skills in SQL, Python, Spark, and Github.
• Must be based in Austria to be eligible for the role.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting enterprise-scale Databricks or AWS-based environments.
• Background in banking, financial services, or other highly regulated industries.
• Interest in Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Experience with operational reporting, logging, and root cause analysis.
