What you will do

• Develop system architectures, requirements, and verification plans for perception functions.
• Define use cases and bounding scenarios to determine the limits of perception capabilities.
• Design and build metrics and tooling for the verification and testing of perception software and hardware.
• Analyze and root-cause on-car results to identify performance improvements in a data-driven manner.
• Prototype analysis tools using Python or C++ to evaluate perception performance.
• Mentor and coach other engineers in the domain of perception functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, CS, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or related field.
• 4+ years of relevant experience (or Master's + 2 years, or PhD).
• Experience in professional environments emphasizing safety, procedure, and software testing.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.
• Strong written communication skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
