Staff Pharmacist (Pet Health): Overseeing daily pharmacy operations and ensuring exceptional clinical care for pet medications with an accent on technician leadership and operational oversight. Focus on dispensing accuracy, regulatory compliance, and optimizing pharmacist-to-tech workflows.
Location: On-site in Boston, MA (Monday - Friday)
Salary: $60 - $65 an hour

What you will do
- Oversee day-to-day pharmacy technician workflows, staffing, and task delegation.
- Provide expert consultations to customers on medication use, interactions, side effects, and dosing for pets.
- Collaborate with veterinarians to clarify or modify prescriptions and provide therapeutic guidance.
- Review and approve prescriptions with high accuracy and manage the dispensing and shipping process.
- Ensure full compliance with all federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations and practice standards.
- Lead and coach a high-performing pharmacy technician team, conducting performance reviews and development check-ins.
Requirements
- Must be based in or able to commute to the Boston, MA headquarters (Monday - Friday)
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent degree.
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in Massachusetts
- Minimum of 4+ years of professional pharmacy experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop teams.
- No DEA exclusions or pending felony charges related to controlled substances.
