What you will do

  • Build an annual event calendar aligned with marketing objectives and product launches.
  • Set event goals, objectives, and KPIs, then track results and drive improvements.
  • Develop event themes, messaging, and branding in collaboration with creative and content teams.
  • Manage event budgets and coordinate vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders for setup and logistics.
  • Lead contract negotiations and oversee onsite/virtual execution, including schedules and technical requirements.
  • Coordinate speaker sourcing, run promotional plans to drive attendance, and deliver post-event ROI/performance reporting with feedback analysis.

Requirements

  • Location/attendance: Hybrid role requiring 3+ days per week in-person at the San Mateo headquarters.
  • 5–7 years of marketing experience, preferably in healthcare, tech, or high-growth stage companies.
  • Proven experience planning and executing events, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Strong project management skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for internal and external stakeholder relationships.
  • Analytical mindset to measure and report success of marketing initiatives; travel is required and varies by trade show season and the annual user conference.
