Principal Software Engineer (Gameplay, Unreal Engine)

What you will do

• Build gameplay features and systems for TFT game modes and cosmetics.
• Develop around-game UI features, including progression and monetization flows.
• Drive product, technical, and architectural discussions to ensure alignment with vision.
• Improve developer efficiency by enhancing tools and workflows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple disciplines to deliver features.
• Provide mentorship to engineers, tech artists, and tech designers.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software development experience with large code bases.
• 4+ years of experience with Unreal Engine, including tools and content pipelines.
• Expertise in C++ and Gameplay Engineering (Character, Camera, Controls).
• Strong communication skills for cross-disciplinary collaboration.
• Proven experience mentoring others in technical and soft skills.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent fundamentals.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Teamfight Tactics.
• Experience with mobile or multi-platform development.
