Medical Writer (Life Sciences)

Location: Hybrid in London or Knutsford, United Kingdom; remote working is also available.

What you will do

• Write medical communications materials, including abstracts, scientific posters, manuscripts, slide decks, presentations, and medical affairs deliverables.
• Ensure content meets standards for grammar, scientific accuracy, client objectives, editorial quality, and industry compliance.
• Manage assigned tasks, deadlines, project budgets, timesheets, and delivery commitments.
• Collaborate with clients, external thought leaders, editorial colleagues, client services, and finance teams.
• Research therapeutic areas, competitors, products, indications, and emerging data.
• Interpret review comments and maintain awareness of industry self-regulation, compliance guidelines, and client SOPs.

Requirements

• Degree in life sciences, ideally with a science master’s degree or PhD.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and its processes.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, multitasking, and independent working skills.
• Ability and motivation to learn new therapy areas and disease states.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe.
