Technical Director IS Business Enablement, Products & Innovation (AI)

Location: Toronto office at 483 Bay Street, moving to the Mississauga office at 3 Robert Speck Parkway in approximately late 2026. Current work authorization for Canada is required. Flexible hybrid working arrangement with remote, hybrid, and in-office options.

What you will do

• Lead technical delivery and relationship management across the Products and Innovation portfolio.
• Act as the IS technical subject matter expert and primary connection between technology and business leadership.
• Align technology strategy and delivery with business objectives across product development, product research, digital investment platforms, wealth management, managed accounts, and emerging technology.
• Partner with IS leaders and cross-functional teams including security, architecture, infrastructure, project governance, business analysis, and quality engineering.
• Support strategic planning, technology modernization, application availability, incident resolution, development quality controls, and operational KPIs.
• Work with the Vice President of Artificial Intelligence to identify and enable responsible AI use cases aligned with company standards, ethics, regulatory expectations, and risk tolerance.

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least 7 years of technical architecture and delivery experience.
• At least 5 years of IT or operations management experience in the financial industry.
• Experience in financial services, mutual funds, or asset management with progressive technology stacks.
• Experience partnering with business leaders across complex financial services portfolios and translating business objectives into technology strategies.
• Strong communication, presentation, management, strategic planning, influencing, conflict resolution, development lifecycle, and team leadership skills.
