What you will do
- Define and own the technical vision, architecture, and long-term roadmap for the iOS platform.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of iOS engineers while setting coding and review standards.
- Make high-impact architectural decisions to drive modularization and scalability.
- Own the CI/CD strategy, release management, and deployment reliability.
- Partner with product and design leadership to translate business goals into technical execution.
- Contribute hands-on to critical features and complex problem-solving.
Requirements
- 8+ years of iOS development experience, including 2+ years in a lead or tech-lead capacity.
- Must be located within approximately ± 4 hours of CET.
- Proven track record shipping and scaling B2C subscription-based apps at significant user volume.
- Deep expertise in Swift, Swift Concurrency, and StoreKit 2 monetization architecture.
- Strong experience with large-scale modular architectures, dependency management, and CI/CD at scale.
- Experience integrating AI-driven product features and championing AI-assisted development.
Nice to have
- Experience with paywall experimentation and pricing strategy.
- Deep performance engineering skills including Instruments-driven diagnosis.
- Comprehensive testing strategy ownership including unit, UI, and contract testing.
