TL;DR

What you will do

• Administer Oracle databases and handle day-to-day support.
• Debug and troubleshoot database issues to restore and maintain service.
• Support Oracle RAC and Single Instance environments.
• Manage backup and recovery using Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN).
• Maintain and support Oracle Data Guard configurations.
• Work with ticketing systems and related operational processes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience as an Oracle DBA.
• Experience with Oracle 11g, Oracle 12c and/or Oracle 19c.
• Experience with Oracle RAC and Single Instance.
• Experience with Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN) and Oracle Data Guard.
• Fluency in English (B2 or above) is mandatory.
• Fluency in Portuguese (B2).
• Hybrid availability: 2x/week in Porto, with Portuguese or other EU citizenship, or a valid Portuguese work permit.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with MS SQL Server, MySQL, Sybase and/or Hadoop.
