What you will do

• Own the design and implementation of scalable and efficient BI data infrastructure.
• Architect data products from ingestion and transformation to storage and access.
• Build and maintain batch and real-time ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Implement best practices for data quality, lineage, observability, and governance.
• Integrate modern tools and frameworks such as Airflow, Databricks, and Power BI.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into data infrastructure.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering and building BI data products.
• Experience working on data developments using AI tools and agentic workflows.
• Strong experience with Apache Airflow and data lakehouses (Databricks is an advantage).
• Vast knowledge in batch processing and streaming processing (e.g., Kafka, Spark Streaming).
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• BSc in Computer Science or a related field from a leading university.

Nice to have

• Experience building data systems from scratch in early-stage projects.
• Background in building operational analytics pipelines for real-time product logic.
• Experience in cost optimization in modern cloud environments.
• Knowledge of data governance principles, compliance, and security best practices.
