TL;DR
Data Engineer (MLOps) (GCP/BigQuery): Build and maintain production-grade batch and streaming data pipelines with an accent on Lakehouse/data lake architectures and layered data modeling. Focus on scalable deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation, while applying MLOps practices for model lifecycle management, packaging, deployment, and monitoring.
Location: Hybrid (based in Lisbon, Portugal). Must be based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit.

What you will do
- Design and implement modern data architectures (Lakehouse/data lake) with layered data modeling.
- Build and maintain complex data pipelines for batch and streaming, including API integrations.
- Develop production-grade deployment workflows using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation (e.g., GitHub Actions).
- Work with Monorepo-structured codebases and maintain scalable, reliable pipeline operations.
- Apply MLOps to manage model lifecycle, packaging, deployment, and monitoring in production.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or MLOps Engineer.
- Hands-on expertise with GCP (BigQuery focus) and modern data architectures (Lakehouse/data lake).
- Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation for production deployments.
- Practical MLOps knowledge across model lifecycle management, packaging, deployment, and monitoring.
- English: B2/C1 and Portuguese: Fluent.
- Hybrid availability based in Lisbon, Portugal and must be based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit.
