🦄 Description
TigerRoll Studios is looking for an Unreal Developer to work on The Freeblades, a shipping Unreal Engine 5 RPG.
The role is Blueprint-focused and aligned with a C++ framework. You will own real gameplay features end-to-end, extending gameplay, UI, and interaction systems while working closely with the lead engineer on architecture and complex framework-level issues.

🚀 Responsibilities
• Build and extend gameplay systems in Blueprint on top of a C++ framework
• Work with GAS, CMC, CommonUI, and Enhanced Input
• Develop UI and interaction systems
• Take well-scoped tasks from brief to working, reviewable implementation
• Own QA and bug fixing for gameplay features
• Perform root cause analysis across live multiplayer systems
• Collaborate with the lead engineer on complex technical issues
• Contribute to areas such as motion matching, technical animation, GAS systems, or CommonUI

📚 Required Skills
• 4+ years of paid professional Unreal Engine experience
• Confident ability to read and understand C++
• Strong Blueprint development skills
• Working understanding of Gameplay Ability System
• Solid programming fundamentals
• Ability to write clean, readable, well-commented, and debuggable work
• Self-directed and autonomous working style
• Good judgment on when to ask for technical support
• Source control discipline with Perforce
• Around 15 hours per week of overlap with the lead

👍 Nice to Have
• Deep experience with motion matching or technical animation
• Deep experience with GAS
• Deep experience with CommonUI
• Experience with multiplayer and replication
• Shipped multiplayer title
• Editor or pipeline tooling experience
• Interest in low-fantasy and co-op games
