What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, including IT services and general commercial contracts.
• Partner with business and project teams to provide pragmatic, solution-oriented legal advice.
• Conduct legal research and advise management on key legal developments and regulatory matters.
• Support strategic initiatives such as merchant migration and partnership renegotiations.
• Oversee corporate governance, including board meetings, shareholders' meetings, and statutory compliance.
• Contribute to the improvement of internal legal tools, templates, and processes.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.
• Master’s degree in law or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of the Czech legal environment.
• Excellent English proficiency (written and spoken) for legal and business contexts.
• Must be based in or able to work in a hybrid model in Prague, Czech Republic.

Nice to have

• Experience working in regulated environments, specifically payments or banking.
• Knowledge of legal environments in Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Poland, and Slovenia.
