What you will do
- Develop and implement regional HR strategies, policies, and amendments in compliance with employment legislation.
- Manage employee relations, including conducting workplace investigations and resolving disputes or grievances.
- Oversee the hiring process to ensure efficiency and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Lead employee engagement initiatives and coordinate relevant training programs.
- Maintain HRIS systems and manage the recruitment, coaching, and development of HR staff.
- Advise management on the resolution of employee relations and absence issues.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the Human Resources field.
- B.S./B.A. in Human Resources or a related field.
- Comprehensive knowledge of labor laws, leave laws, and performance management.
- Must be based in Australia to ensure compliance with local regional laws.
- Extensive experience in conflict management, benefits administration, and compensation.
Nice to have
- Professional certification such as SHRM PHR or CIPD (Level 5 desired).
- Working knowledge of ACT, VISIO, and PowerPoint.
