TL;DR
Data Operations Engineer (Web3): Supporting the reliability, observability, and cost efficiency of a multi-cloud data platform across Alibaba Cloud and AWS with an accent on platform reliability and resource optimization. Focus on managing core data components, troubleshooting production incidents, and developing automation for scaling and health checks.
Location: Singapore (Must have current right to work, no visa sponsorship provided)

What you will do
- Operate and support core data platform components including Alibaba Cloud DataWorks, MaxCompute, Databricks, and StarRocks.
- Build and maintain monitoring, alerting, and SLA/SLO metrics for data platform services.
- Respond to production incidents, troubleshoot issues, and drive long-term technical fixes.
- Analyze compute, storage, and cluster resource usage to optimize performance and cloud costs.
- Develop automation scripts and operational tools to improve health checks, releases, and scaling.
- Collaborate with data engineering, BI, platform teams, and cloud vendors to improve operational efficiency.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data platform operations, SRE, big data engineering, or cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with AWS or Alibaba Cloud.
- Hands-on experience with big data platforms such as Databricks, Flink, Spark, Hive, Presto, or Trino.
- Strong SQL skills for troubleshooting data issues and performance problems.
- Solid Linux fundamentals and scripting experience with Shell or Python.
- Current right to work in Singapore is required.
Nice to have
- Experience tuning OLAP engines like StarRocks, ClickHouse, Doris, or Trino.
- Proficiency with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or Datadog.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, or GitLab CI/CD.
- Knowledge of multi-cloud operations, resource governance, and capacity planning.
