What you will do

• Collaboratively design and deliver new features with cross-functional teams, including iOS, Web, and Backend engineers.
• Ensure software robustness through comprehensive unit and integration testing, addressing edge cases and reliability.
• Lead medium to large-scale projects from inception to successful delivery, aligning with business goals.
• Initiate and drive personal project initiatives from idea to app integration.
• Keep up to date with the latest Android SDK, tools, and conventions.

Requirements

• University or Postgraduate Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years of total engineering experience with at least 5 years shipping production Android applications.
• Excellent knowledge of Kotlin and Java.
• Proficiency with Jetpack Compose, Room, Kotlin Coroutines, and ReactiveX.
• Experience with architecture design patterns: MVP, MVVM, MVI, or Clean Architecture.
• Must be based in Greece to support the hybrid work format in Neo Irakleio.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with integration, functional, or UI Automation testing.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Bitrise.
• Experience with Observability tools and performance monitoring/testing.
• Experience with analytic tools and a data-driven approach.
