TL;DR

Location: Hybrid (London, UK). Must be based in the UK and work from the office at least 3 days per week.

What you will do

  • Build and ship native Android features using Kotlin.
  • Create intuitive mobile flows for insurance, payments, claims, and financial services.
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to simplify complex user journeys.
  • Integrate backend APIs while ensuring stability, security, and reliability.
  • Optimize app performance, memory usage, and reduce crash rates.
  • Implement AI-assisted mobile experiences to improve the user journey.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Android development experience using Kotlin.
  • Strong proficiency with Android fundamentals, Jetpack, Coroutines, and Flow.
  • Experience shipping production apps and integrating REST APIs.
  • Deep understanding of mobile UX, usability, and edge-case handling.
  • Must be based in the UK and available to work from the London office at least 3 days per week.
  • Strong English communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience with TensorFlow Lite for on-device inference.
  • Portfolio of shipped work (GitHub, app links, or screenshots).
