Senior Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Dublin, Ireland; hybrid work with at least 50% of each quarter spent in the office or in the field

Base salary: €84,000–€126,000 EUR annually, plus potential bonus and annual refresh stock grants.

What you will do

• Design, implement, scale, and modernize enterprise IAM solutions covering SSO, MFA, lifecycle management, and directory services.
• Define multi-cloud identity strategies across AWS, Azure, and GCP using CBAC, RBAC, PBAC, and ABAC within Zero Trust and Zero Standing Privileges models.
• Automate provisioning, de-provisioning, access reviews, and other identity workflows through CI/CD pipelines, scripting, and Identity as Code.
• Modernize AWS IAM management and provide SRE oversight for IAM services in the European Sovereign Cloud.
• Mentor mid-level and junior engineers, establish engineering practices, and lead incident response for complex identity issues.
• Partner with Risk and Compliance teams on SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR alignment while applying AI tools to engineering workflows.

Requirements

• 7+ years of cybersecurity experience, including at least 5+ years in IAM engineering and architecture.
• Hands-on expertise with Okta, Ping Identity, ForgeRock, Microsoft Entra ID, PAM tools such as CyberArk or BeyondTrust, LDAP, and Active Directory.
• Experience managing AWS and GCP environments at scale, including EC2, EKS/GKE, AWS IAM, and GCP Cloud IAM.
• Expert knowledge of SAML 2.0, OIDC, OAuth 2.0, SCIM, LDAP, and Kerberos.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, PowerShell, Bash, and Terraform for infrastructure and identity automation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent, with strong security engineering, incident response, communication, and prioritization skills.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CIAM, CAMS, provider-specific architect certification, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
