What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows.
• Own data infrastructure, ensuring reliability, monitoring, and performance.
• Develop and maintain orchestration workflows using Apache Airflow.
• Write clean, efficient, production-grade Python code.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases, queries, and schemas.
• Collaborate with product, analytics, and engineering teams to improve data quality and observability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• High-level proficiency in Python and strong SQL expertise, preferably with PostgreSQL.
• Deep understanding of database design, query optimization, and data modeling.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take full project ownership.
• Must be based in Tbilisi, Georgia

Nice to have

• Experience with Apache Airflow.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Proven experience building and maintaining production data pipelines.
