What you will do

• Design and integrate monitoring and observability solutions using an automation-first mindset.
• Apply SRE principles to eliminate repetitive toil and reduce detection and repair lead times.
• Collaborate with Development and Infrastructure teams to integrate observability requirements (metrics, traces, logs, alerts) into new system designs.
• Improve overall reliability of products and services through proactive engineering.
• Maintain team documentation and share knowledge to achieve common operational goals.

Requirements

• Strong coding and scripting background with experience performing code reviews.
• Deep understanding of the Linux operating system and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with at least one of the following: Alerting, Monitoring, TSDB, Logging, or APM.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and infrastructure building tools.
• Experience with container orchestration platforms and public or private Cloud environments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
