What you will do
- Co-design and implement platform capabilities using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles.
- Create self-service tools and automation to improve developer productivity and experience.
- Ensure operational security standards are applied and kept up to date.
- Monitor platform performance, capacity, and availability from a customer-centric perspective.
- Implement, validate, and test disaster recovery procedures and platform resilience.
- Research and evaluate new technologies to drive continuous platform innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or related fields.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Working knowledge of container technologies including Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
- Ability to write automation code in Python, .NET, or similar languages.
- Must be based in or able to work from Liège, Belgium.
Nice to have
- Experience building developer portals and self-service interfaces.
- Knowledge of observability tools like DataDog, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, Kafka, or IAM providers.
- Strong product thinking to prioritize platform features based on user needs.
