What you will do

• Monitor global legislative and political developments to maintain a regulatory heatmap and intelligence database.
• Build and manage a prioritized pipeline of target markets for international expansion.
• Act as the internal center of expertise on pre-regulatory and grey-zone markets, advising executive management on shaping strategies.
• Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with government officials, regulators, and ministries across target jurisdictions.
• Lead direct government engagement, contribute to legislative proposals, and direct lobbying efforts.
• Develop board-ready investment proposals and market-entry roadmaps, including risk assessments for politically sensitive regions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive experience in regulatory compliance, public affairs, and regulatory strategy within the online gambling and gaming industry.
• Proven track record of leading market-entry initiatives in grey-zone or pre-regulatory jurisdictions.
• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, or Political Science (Master's degree preferred).
• Multilingual capability and cultural fluency required to navigate diverse political systems.
• Demonstrated AI-first mindset, actively using AI tools to improve productivity and decision-making.
• Experience authoring position papers and engaging in public consultations.
