Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS)

TL;DR

Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS/Platform): Designing, optimizing, and maintaining a secure cloud ecosystem for sports-focused web applications with an accent on infrastructure automation and scaling. Focus on bridging conventional operations with AI workflows, eliminating infrastructure silos, and ensuring high-performance CI/CD pipelines.

Location: Hybrid in Nis, Serbia (at least three days a week in the office)

What you will do

• Manage, secure, and scale AWS cloud environments and networking (VPCs, firewalls).
• Provision infrastructure using Terraform and handle configuration via Ansible.
• Deploy and manage applications using Docker on AWS ECS and AWS EKS.
• Develop and debug serverless applications using AWS Lambda and Cloudflare Workers.
• Maintain automated CI/CD pipelines exclusively via GitHub Actions.
• Implement infrastructure health tracking and alerting using Checkmk, Prometheus, and Grafana.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in SRE, Platform Engineering, or DevOps managing complex AWS setups.
• Practical understanding of AI concepts, workflows, and tools to support engineering operations.
• Expert-level knowledge of Linux administration (Ubuntu and Debian).
• Strong diagnostic skills for troubleshooting live Node.js and PHP/WordPress application issues.
• Mindset focused on KPIs, project deadlines, and operational efficiency.
• English: Proficiency required (applications must be submitted in English).
