What you will do

• Design, build, and optimize data pipelines and data products to ensure reliability and scalability across the organization.
• Implement data quality tests reflecting business rules, including completeness and referential checks.
• Collaborate with domain cluster Data Engineers and stakeholders to ensure long-term maintainability.
• Optimize jobs and implement data contracts to reduce compute costs and enhance system performance.
• Investigate failed loads or QA breaches and coordinate rapid fixes with relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation in Confluence and conduct knowledge-transfer sessions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building cloud data pipelines.
• Solid proficiency in SQL, Python/PySpark, and Airflow (or similar schedulers).
• Demonstrated experience implementing idempotent or merge-based ingestion patterns.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks for data, such as Great Expectations or Soda.
• Strong soft skills, including a documentation mindset and experience in mentoring.
