Location: Hybrid in Cluj, Romania (must be in the office at least 3 days per week)

What you will do

• Lead and manage multiple AI delivery pods, providing coaching, feedback, and career development for engineers.
• Ensure the delivery of production-ready enterprise AI solutions, balancing speed, quality, and long-term sustainability.
• Provide solution-level architectural oversight and guide teams in making enterprise-aligned design decisions.
• Collaborate with the AI CoE to translate broader AI strategy into practical, scalable deliveries.
• Champion engineering best practices, including code quality, testing, CI/CD, observability, and documentation.
• Foster an inclusive Agile environment and a strong engineering culture.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager with direct people-management responsibility.
• Experience delivering AI-enabled solutions in enterprise environments with strict security, scalability, and governance requirements.
• Strong background in modern software engineering and cloud-based architectures.
• Experience leading multiple initiatives or teams in parallel within an Agile framework.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be based in or able to work from the local office in Cluj, Romania (minimum 3 days per week).

Nice to have

• Applied use of LLMs in production environments.
• Experience with solution architecture, design governance, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Deep understanding of security-driven design and modern application security practices.
• Active contribution to engineering communities or shared standards.
