Senior Business Architect (Payments)

Location: Hybrid in Vienna, Austria; mobile work is available within Austria.

What you will do

• Define architectural concepts and solutions for distributed systems focused on Issuing solutions, customer requests, consolidation, and product development.
• Design future-proof processing platforms for cashless payment transactions, balancing robustness, security, time, cost, and system complexity.
• Elaborate and maintain High Level Design documentation.
• Refine the target application landscape and roadmap for Issuing solutions.
• Coordinate contributions from cloud, infrastructure, security, business continuity, and other internal stakeholders.
• Support pre-sales and collaborate with management, product management, requirements engineering, business representatives, and clients.

Requirements

• Degree from a university or university of applied sciences, preferably in computer science or engineering.
• Professional experience in a similar environment, preferably as a Business Architect, Application Architect, Business Analyst, or Business Requirements Engineer.
• Experience in the financial or payment industry.
• Solid understanding of or hands-on experience with software, along with strong analytical and conceptual skills.
• Clear and concise communication, quick thinking, initiative, and ability to work in a team.
• Fluent English and good understanding of German are required.
