TL;DR
Solution Architect (Fintech): Designing and implementing end-to-end technical solutions for banking systems with an accent on cloud-native applications, microservices, container orchestration, and API and event-based integration. Focus on translating business requirements into architectural specifications, governing design standards, and guiding engineering teams through complex distributed systems, security, and regulatory challenges.

What you will do
- Architect and design end-to-end technical solutions aligned with business needs, industry practices, and technology standards.
- Analyze banking use cases, business requirements, technical documentation, and financial and technical processes.
- Coordinate with engineers, product owners, product managers, analysts, and other stakeholders to deliver well-architected solutions.
- Align designs with Domain and Enterprise Architecture standards and participate in the bank's architectural board.
- Create documentation for features, technical initiatives, and product designs across physical, logical, functional, and network levels.
- Guide implementation teams, maintain subject matter expertise on ING systems and integrations, and incorporate feedback throughout the development lifecycle.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of web or software development experience, including at least 2 years in a lead or architect role.
- Software development experience as both a practitioner and a lead, preferably with Java-based enterprise systems.
- Extensive experience in application design, business requirements analysis, technical documentation, and software delivery.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, networking, security, testing, automation, DevOps, and the software development lifecycle.
- Knowledge of architectural modeling methods such as C4, ArchiMate, UML, and ERDs, as well as distributed systems, microservices, domain-driven design, and event-driven systems.
- Professional communication and technical reasoning in English are required, along with strong presentation, documentation, analytical, and cross-cultural collaboration skills.

- Experience with regulatory, compliance, and policy matters related to systems design and architecture.
