Location: Must be a resident of the province of Quebec for 100% remote work; hybrid and onsite options available in Quebec City and Montreal.

What you will do
- Design creative animations tailored to project constraints and artistic needs.
- Collaborate with artists and animators to maximize animation potential and quality.
- Identify and resolve technical or creative issues throughout the production cycle.
- Ensure content optimization and adherence to 3D animation best practices.
- Mentor team members and contribute to the evolution of internal development tools.
- Participate in progress meetings to track deliverables and address technical challenges.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the video game industry.
- Fluency in both French and English (written and spoken).
- Advanced knowledge of 3D animation principles including physics, timing, and character movement.
- Proficiency in Maya or 3DS Max.
- Must be a resident of the province of Quebec for remote work eligibility.
- Portfolio or demo reel required for application.
Nice to have
- Experience with Motion Builder and Advanced Skeleton rigging tool.
- Knowledge of rigging, FX, and modeling.
- Experience with Unity and Unreal engines.
- Experience with camera manipulation in Maya for in-game cutscenes.
