TL;DR

Chief Executive Officer (Management): Lead and build a venture-backed AI SaaS company focused on regulatory intelligence and operations software for regulated enterprises with an accent on founder-led sales, product vision, and team building. Focus on navigating complex enterprise sales in regulated, asset-heavy industries, developing AI-driven domain-aware products, and securing strategic partnerships.

Location: On-site in Mountain View, CA. Candidates outside the Bay Area will not be considered.

What you will do

• Lead all functional areas including strategy, go-to-market, operations, finance, fundraising, and team building.
• Define and drive the company vision for regulatory intelligence and operations software.
• Own founder-led sales targeting enterprise customers in utilities, energy, and regulated industries.
• Work closely with early customers to understand regulatory workflows and high-value use cases.
• Partner with technical leadership to build AI agents for regulatory material interpretation.
• Develop positioning, pricing, sales motion, and secure strategic partnerships.

Requirements

• Must have demonstrated leadership at early-stage B2B SaaS companies, ideally from 0 to 1 and early scale.
• Proven ability to sell complex software to enterprise customers in regulated, asset-heavy markets.
• Experience with AI, data-centric products, workflow software, or vertical SaaS.
• Fundraising experience or ability to inspire investor confidence.
• Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with multiple responsibilities.
• High empathy for expert users requiring accuracy, auditability, and institutional knowledge.

Nice to have

• Experience selling into utilities, energy, infrastructure, financial services, healthcare, insurance, telecom, or other regulated industries.
• Familiarity with regulatory affairs, compliance, legal operations, government affairs, and cross-jurisdictional research.
• Experience building or commercializing AI products involving document intelligence and workflow automation.
• Experience selling to legal, regulatory, strategy, compliance, finance, or operations teams.
• Experience building products requiring trust, traceability, citations, and auditability.
• Exposure to enterprise data partnerships and domain-specific knowledge systems.
