Salary: $175,000 – $200,000

What you will do

  • Build and scale peptide API manufacturing operations from early-stage development to commercial readiness.
  • Develop and implement production workflows for peptide synthesis, purification, and lyophilization.
  • Drive facility readiness through equipment qualification, process validation, and startup activities.
  • Establish cGMP-compliant quality systems including SOPs, batch records, and CAPAs.
  • Lead and develop a growing manufacturing team while remaining hands-on with daily operations.
  • Partner with R&D and Quality to ensure process scalability, robustness, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
  • 8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing.
  • Proven experience building manufacturing infrastructure from the ground up.
  • Hands-on technical expertise with SPPS and HPLC purification.
  • Strong working knowledge of cGMP and quality systems in a regulated environment.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment.
