Data Ops Engineer

What you will do

• Manage production applications and data infrastructure across private clouds and on-premise data centers.
• Support existing data infrastructure and maintain the quality of delivered data services.
• Help create new infrastructure components, develop documentation, and onboard customers.
• Act as a focal point for R&D teams and investigate incidents affecting their environments.
• Provide solutions and operational support for critical IT environments.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of practical experience administering Linux systems.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration systems such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of the TCP/IP network stack.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and basic application debugging experience.
• Understanding of message queue systems such as Apache Kafka.
• Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, Aerospike, or other NoSQL solutions.

Nice to have

• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Experience with the Hadoop ecosystem, including HDFS, YARN, Spark, or Hive.
• Experience with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins or TeamCity.
• Experience managing systems with configuration management tools such as Ansible.
