DevOps Engineer (Mining Technology)

DevOps Engineer (Mining Technology): Designing and implementing end-to-end automation solutions for the MineStar platform with an accent on CI/CD pipeline reliability, infrastructure scalability, and security compliance. Focus on standardizing workflows across Agile teams, managing complex deployment issues, and driving automation maturity within a large-scale industrial environment.

Location: Must be based in Brisbane, Australia (Onsite 5 days/week)

What you will do

• Design and implement end-to-end automation solutions across build, test, and deployment lifecycles.
• Partner with Agile teams to define automation strategy and drive continuous improvement.
• Standardize pipelines, environments, and workflows to reduce manual effort and operational risk.
• Build and support robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, and Azure DevOps.
• Perform root-cause analysis on complex deployment issues and drive long-term corrective solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and establish automation standards and reusable templates.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, automation, or platform engineering.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and Kubernetes.
• Deep knowledge of CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitHub, Azure DevOps) at enterprise scale.
• Experience with database platforms including SQL Server and Postgres.
• Development knowledge in .NET, Java, or Python for code review and troubleshooting.
• Must be eligible to work in Australia without sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Azure certifications (Administrator, DevOps Engineer, or Solutions Architect).
• Experience with compliance and quality frameworks like ISO.
• Background in mining, construction, or heavy equipment industries.
