What you will do

• Act as the primary escalation point for anti-financial crime matters including AML, sanctions, fraud, and data privacy.
• Investigate and resolve escalated alerts and tickets within strict resolution timeframes.
• Collaborate with management on projects, process testing, and implementation of new compliance workflows.
• Present clear summaries and risk mitigation proposals to management based on investigation findings.
• Review and advise on policy and procedure updates to ensure regulatory alignment.

Requirements

• Experience as a compliance or anti-financial crime officer in a major financial institution.
• Deep knowledge of AML and sanctions regulations such as OFAC, POCA, and ML regulations.
• Proven ability to operate various internal and external systems to complete complex investigations.
• Strong project management skills with a track record of successful delivery.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present findings clearly on camera and in writing.
