TL;DR
Senior Fullstack Engineer (Ruby/Python/Vue.js): Building and scaling reliable email client solutions for a global trade intelligence platform with an accent on microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and high-performance backend services. Focus on leading technical initiatives, mentoring team members, and architecting scalable systems using Ruby on Rails, Python, and Vue.js.
Location: Must be based in Athens, Greece (Hybrid)

What you will do
- Design and develop scalable end-to-end features using Ruby on Rails, Python, and Vue.js.
- Lead high-impact engineering initiatives and manage technical communication with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Architect distributed systems and microservices utilizing event-driven architecture with Kafka.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on development best practices and system design.
- Ensure system reliability through monitoring, incident response, and performance tuning.
- Drive the refactoring of legacy components toward a modern, scalable tech stack.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience developing production-grade applications with Ruby or Python and modern frontend frameworks.
- Strong expertise in microservices architecture and event-driven systems using Kafka.
- Hands-on experience with MySQL, Elasticsearch, and Redis.
- Proficiency with AWS, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Deep understanding of data structures, distributed systems, and system design principles.
- Must be based in or able to work from Athens, Greece.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Hexagonal or Clean Architecture principles.
- Experience with React Native and MongoDB.
- Exposure to DevOps tooling such as GitHub Actions and observability platforms.
- Prior experience in the maritime or logistics domain.
