What you will do

• Design and implement the integration approach for AP invoice processing following Microsoft best practices.
• Develop a proof-of-concept to authenticate, retrieve supplier/PO data, and create AP invoices in D365 F&O.
• Build a production-ready solution featuring 3-way matching, duplicate detection, and GL coding.
• Ensure secure authentication and reliable data exchange using D365 F&O integration technologies.
• Document technical decisions and implementation approaches for future handoff.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience integrating with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Proven track record of building Accounts Payable or Procurement integrations.
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET, including HTTP clients, serialization, and error handling.
• Hands-on experience with OData, Custom Services, Data Management Framework (DMF), and Business Events.
• Expertise in D365 F&O data models, including vendors, purchase orders, product receipts, and GL accounts.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) using OAuth 2.0 service-to-service authentication.

Nice to have

• Experience with X++.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Lifecycle Services (LCS).
• Integration experience with AP automation platforms such as IntelliChief, Kofax, or Esker.
• Knowledge of 3-way matching and GL coding for both PO and non-PO invoices.
