Senior Engineer (TypeScript, React, Node.js, Next.js)

Location: 100% remote; can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada. Optional in-person collaboration for San Francisco-based candidates.

Salary: $190K–$220K base salary (plus pre-IPO equity)

What you will do

• Build new products and features from 0 to 1.
• Own projects end-to-end from conception through shipping, delivering modular, maintainable, high-quality code.
• Deliver value across the system while considering performance, scale, security, and maintainability.
• Shape product direction by talking to users and collaborating on feature brainstorms and roadmap planning.
• Provide thoughtful code reviews and technical guidance to improve overall team quality.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in the United States or Canada.
• 5+ years of experience building applications.
• Extensive TypeScript experience.
• Experience scaling with a frontend stack (React/Next.js) and/or backend stack (Node.js, MongoDB, AWS).
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with product, design, and business partners.
• Excellent communication, proactive problem-solving, and a strong sense of ownership.
