What you will do

• Build new products and features from 0 to 1.
• Take ownership of projects from conception to shipping, ensuring high-quality, modular code.
• Deliver value across the entire system while prioritizing performance, security, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to shape the product roadmap and feature brainstorms.
• Provide technical guidance and code reviews to peers to improve team quality.
• Participate in hiring and team-building activities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building and operating backend systems in production.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and backend technologies including Node.js and databases.
• Demonstrated ownership of systems running at scale with a focus on reliability.
• Product-oriented mindset with the ability to understand the business impact of technical decisions.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Must be based in the United States or Canada.
