DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes)

What you will do

• Operate and optimize Kubernetes-based infrastructure in close collaboration with software developers.
• Own GitOps-based continuous delivery using ArgoCD and declarative configuration with Kustomize.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters end-to-end, including provisioning, scaling, access control, and cost optimization.
• Maintain self-managed on-premises Kubernetes alongside Azure-managed clusters, including networking and storage.
• Automate operational tasks to ensure infrastructure remains reproducible and scalable.
• Troubleshoot operational issues in Kubernetes environments and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in a DevOps role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes operations (pods, services, deployments, ingress, PVs).
• Experience with GitOps delivery using ArgoCD and Kustomize.
• Proven track record of building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Solid experience with Docker, container registries, and Linux administration (Bash, Python).
• Ability to execute independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Nice to have

• Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform.
• Exposure to on-premises virtualization platforms like Proxmox or bare-metal Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of observability tools (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana) or Azure Application Insights.
• Experience with Azure security tools (Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender for Cloud).
• Database administration experience with MSSQL and PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with AWS and API testing tools like Postman.
• Relevant certifications such as CKA, CKAD, AZ-104, or AZ-400.
