TL;DR

Lead DevOps Engineer (Azure): Designing, building, and operating secure cloud services for business-critical applications within an Azure Landing Zone with an accent on containerized microservice architecture. Focus on implementing automated CI/CD pipelines, ensuring high availability, and maintaining regulatory compliance for a central bank client.

Location: Must be located in Poland and have EU citizenship. Hybrid work with occasional visits to the office in Katowice.

Salary: 18,000–22,000 PLN gross/month (UOP) or 135–190 PLN net/h (B2B)

What you will do

• Design and operate cloud-based microservices for high-availability, business-critical applications.
• Maintain containerized solutions using Kubernetes (AKS), OpenShift, and Docker.
• Implement and operate automated CI/CD pipelines using DevSecOps tooling.
• Apply "secure by design" principles, including IAM and OAuth2/OIDC flows.
• Develop and integrate REST/SOAP APIs and manage cloud storage and data-provision services.
• Optimize infrastructure performance, redundancy, and observability within an agile Scrum team.

Requirements

• EU citizenship and residency in Poland.
• Extensive practical experience with Kubernetes, Docker, AKS, or OpenShift.
• Strong proficiency in Azure cloud environments and cloud-native development practices.
• Knowledge of implementing OAuth2/OIDC security flows and IAM.
• Fluent English (B2/C1) and Fluent German (B2/C1).
• Experience with version control tools like Git and SVN.

Nice to have

• Experience with relational (MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL) and non-relational (Redis, Cassandra) databases.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) and cloud portability concepts.
• Experience with distributed systems and client-server architectures.
