Media Components is an international full-service marketing agency helping businesses grow through effective digital strategies. We work with SEO, PPC, Social Media, and Web projects and are looking for an experienced Web Department Team Lead to lead our remote web team, manage client projects, and help expand our digital offerings.

Responsibilities
• Define strategy and direction for the web department, aligning with company and client goals
• Oversee all web projects: quality, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a remote team of developers.
• Serve as the primary client contact for calls and meetings - fluent English is essential.
• Provide expert guidance on WordPress, Shopify, and Wix (development, customization, optimization).
• Supervise hosting, domain management, uptime monitoring, and web security.
• Oversee monthly website maintenance: updates, performance, security audits, and vulnerability resolution.
• Manage department budget, project estimates, and profitability targets.
• Partner with the teams on integrated campaigns.
• Track KPIs, report to senior leadership, and drive continuous process improvement.
• Stay ahead of web trends, tools, and technologies to keep our services competitive.

Qualifications
• 4+ years in web development/digital marketing; 3+ years in a leadership role (remote/hybrid).
• Deep expertise in WordPress, Shopify, and Wix.
• Strong knowledge of hosting, domain management, uptime, and security.
• Solid grasp of UX/UI principles, accessibility, and SEO.
• Fluent spoken and written English for professional client communication.
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects and remote teams.
• Familiarity with agile methods and remote project management tools.
